Type Specimen(s):Holotype FMNH 152991 (Girardi, 1978: 230).
Type Locality:Station 34, approximately 8 km SE of Asau along main road, then inland about 8 km along a track to about 540 m, in light upland forest; Savaii, W. Samoa.
