Type Specimen(s):Holotype FMNH 170530 (Girardi, 1978: 228).
Type Locality:Station 34, approximately 8 km SE of Asau along main road, then inland about 8 km along a track to about 540 m elevation, in light upland forest, Savaii, W. Samoa.
Distribution:Samoa.
