Species: Succinea putamen Gould, 1846

Distribution:'Upolu
Natural Range:Samoa.
Status:Endemic.
Habitat:Mostly at mid-elevations, inland, in damp places in forest but sometimes in more open areas. On the ground under logs and other debris or on vegetation (ferns, shrubs, tree trunks). May tolerate some degree of habitat disturbance.
Adult Size:Height, 11-12 mm; width, 9-10 mm; or perhaps larger.
Identification:Shell with tiny spire and very large, expanded, flat body whorl. Shell color generally pale yellowish.
